The unity, security, peace and development we have were achieved due to patriotism and sacrifice
On Monday 03, June 2019, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Busingye Johnston officiated the pass out ceremony of the Police Basic Training Course intake 15/18-19 at the Police Training School – Gishari and gave them the rank of “Police Constable”.
"We are here today not only to support our Police but also to acknowledge and cement the existing relations and partnership. The parade, smartness, equipment, the men and women matching before us come from us to ensure peace, security and freedom, which lays a firm foundation for development and our country's transformation," Minister Busingye said.
“Today the unity, security, peace and development we have were achieved due to patriotism and sacrifice. Security is guaranteed and crimes are at the lowest, like never before. This is the proper depiction of our country. We have an obligation to maintain it” He added.
Prior to the pass out ceremony, Minister Busingye launched the newly built accommodation facilities for staff and trainees, and classrooms, at the Police Training School - Gishari.
